Malta November 2nd 2007
Mellieha and St. Paul's Bay.
Well today was the day we had decided to little other than a bit of souvenier hunting and pottering around the hotel.
That idea went a little astray when we decided to go off and visit St. Paul's bay, not having been there before. Sadly my photograher took no pictures today so I will have to fill this page with waffle and maybe a few pictures of nothing to do with today.
As it turns out St. Paul's is quite a nice place. A bit more touristy than Melieha, though not in a nasty way. There are plenty of souvenier shops as well as cafes, retuarants etc. Very much a seaside town but without the beach ? There is a huge McDonalds on the front where we stopped for lunch and then spent at least a couple of hours just browsing around all the shops.
We got nearly all our pressies here I think, but don't tell anyone.
And off we go again. This time back to Mellieha for a good look at the shops there, which are great, apart from the going up the hill bit.
Shopping terminated, we spent an hour or so in the Hotel's indoor pool then back to the room to begin packing. Going home tommorrow, though we have a late-ish flight so we still had most of the day.

Mdina Gate, (inside).
Once again we spent the evening in the hotel bar, entertained with some live music, internet, games room and large quantities of Cisk.
